Senior Management
Partner Mickey Rowley
Mickey Rowley arrived in Philadelphia in 1992 to open the Embassy Suites Hotel just across the street from 1717 Arch Street. This was after 15 years in the hotel business in Washington, DC and resort management in Ocean City, Maryland. After a five year term as Executive Director of the Greater Philadelphia Hotel Association, Rowley was appointed Pennsylvania Tourism Director by Governor Ed Rendell in 2003. |
 Managing Partner Louisa Kochman
Managing Partner Lou Kochman began her career with the Bell Telephone Company. In her 14 years, she served as a corporate trainer and meeting planner. Kochman parlayed her business expertise and native culinary skills into realizing her lifelong dream of opening her own catering company. That business, Unique Treats of Drexel Hill combined operations with Top of the Tower in December, 1994. |
Executive Chef Matthew Lane
Top of the Tower welcomed Executive Chef Matthew Lane to command the kitchen in 2003. A native of Southern California, Matt graduated from the Western Culinary Institute. After productive turns at The Breakers in West Palm Beach and The Peabody Hotel in Orlando, he honed his skills as the Banquet Chef under renowned Chefs Chris Scarduzio and Georges Perrier. Matt's exposure to numerous cultures and cuisines while residing in the ethnic culinary mecca of Los Angeles, is reflected in his dishes. He maintains classical cooking fundamentals, accented with a defining global influence. |
Our Team
Rowley, Kochman and Lane are joined by Vanessa Garcia, Director of Catering Sales and Lisa Cosgrove, Catering Manager to create a very strong management team that represents over 50 years of combined industry experience. In addition to our managers, we have a dedicated staff of professionals who are committed and stand ready to serve.
