Your wedding day is so special that Top of the Tower's policy is to host only one per day. A typical reception is five hours in length and may start any time as late at 7:00 PM. We have provided a sample of how your wedding might flow, but of course in reality, your event will be customized to meet your needs!
5:00-6:00pm
The ceremony takes place in the Stonorov Room. There is a choice of two floor plans for the set of your ceremony. One looks due east over the river (pictured in the Bride's Story), and the other option is to set on the diagonal, looking toward the southeast (Liberty Place) corner.
6:00-7:00pm
Guests move to the Grand Hallway to enjoy a cocktail reception. There are two bars, one at each end of the 125 foot-long hallway, with cocktail seating and high-top tables interspersed throughout the remaining space. Your wedding cake is located in the center of the Grand Hallway, with your guest book and gift table.
6:50pm
Doors to the Furness Forum dinner room are opened and guests are asked to take their seats for dinner service. The Bridal Party is introduced into the dinner room and the ceremonial "toast" follows.
7:15pm
Dinner is served while background music is playing. At the conclusion of dinner service, your guests are invited to join you in the Stonorov Room to dance the night away!
8:45pm
The Stonorov Room now boasts a large dance floor, your band or DJ, with plenty of cocktail seating and high-top tables for your guests. After the Bride & Groom descend the staircase, they have their first dance. Dances with parents, tossing the garter & bouquet, and the cake cutting all take place in the Stonorov Room.
