Top of the Tower has three main areas available for your ceremony. Located on the 50th and 51st floors of the Bell Atlantic Tower at 1717 Arch Street, the views are spectacular and the service is second to none! Below are the dimensions of our space with the capacities for a variety of set-ups.
When entering the double glass doors from the elevator lobby on the 50th floor, you are in the Grand Hallway. The first thing you see is a floor to ceiling view of Philadelphia! The Grand Hallway connects the Furness Forum on the west side with the Stonorov Ballroom on the east side. Since the Grand Hallway is 125 feet long and 15 feet wide, the view is amazing. It is the perfect "in-between" reception space. When using both rooms and the Grand Hallway, up to 500 guests can be accommodated reception-style. This space is most often used for a cocktail hour before a meal, or for dessert & coffee service at the conclusion of the event. Any way you use our space, your guests will love wandering around admiring the many panoramic views.
This room accommodates up to 200 guests for a reception & 170 guests seated at round tables of 10, and provides a rich setting, with 20-foot high ceilings and cherry-wood walls. The floor-to-ceiling windows create a dramatic view of Philadelphia. Whether you are having food station buffets or a seated meal, a party in this room is elegant and formal.
This unique two-tiered room, also with our signature floor-to-ceiling windows, is an ideal location for a food station party. The wide staircase leads to a mezzanine that becomes a "room within a room", allowing guests to have a smaller, more intimate space or to peer over the balcony railings to watch the fun below. Stonorov is also used for seated meals for up to 160 guests when setting tables on both levels.
There are two smaller rooms on the 51st floor. When a wedding ceremony is held at our facility, we offer these rooms as Hospitality Suites for the Bridal party. Our brides & grooms generally opt to get dressed here, so they only have to travel one floor down to get to the ceremony room.
